The Merkabah

Energy in the spiritual world is really what it is all about. Whether you are healing, channelling or connecting to your guides, or meditating, visioning etc. it is all done in an energetic sense. It has to be backed and supported by action otherwise the energy cannot manifest into something that we would find useful or meaningful. But….energy is the key! All the talk of Ascension, 2012 and the New Earth, points to an energetic change, a shift and transformation even. What this means in simple terms is that the way we access the Divine realms, the Celestial ones also changes. How we interact with each other and our relationship with the planet also changes. The good news is the change is positive (and happening now), the other news (it isn’t bad!) is that it requires us to change too. The best bit is that there are some short cuts available and the Merkabah is one of them.

The Merkabah is part of your light body; your energy (spiritual) system. Previously it took discipline and years of hard work to activate it, now all you need is discipline. By that I mean the will and desire to learn about it and activate it.

The good thing is that unlike in the old paradigm world when activating something of such spiritual significance and power would take many years of study and dedication, not to mention cost, the new earth energy I have been working with is about short cuts! Short cuts to get you to where you need to be so you can start your real work. FUN

Okay - it has been a while - maybe I have been a little BLOG shy - but why write when you have nothing to share - that is what I feel.... ;-) (And yes, I do have something to share today) .

It is all about FUN....recently as I have been talking to many many clients I have realised how much their spiritual quest or journey has had the fun removed from it. Who ever said it had to be that way? Do you think that is what it is meant to be like. I remember myself thinking this - sat in meditation circles - feeling slightly bored and irritated but thought I have to do this in order to open up that box that has my spiritual gifts and knowledge in it. Okay - it worked to a certain extent, but I have no doubt in my heart and soul that it worked almost despite this and not inspite this. It also probably in some way delayed my spiritual awakening and sense of connection to myself because on one level it didn't seem like fun.

Indeed - there should be regular practice of some sort - discipline for want of a better word. BUT when it is not fun there really is little value in pursuing the activity. I am not talking about resitance because that is something totally different - it is simply when you feel no FUN. You know when you feel that your energy is being zapped, when you feel bored, when you feel like you are simply going through the motions, when not doing the activity is like having won the lottery because you can do something more FUN instead. Resistance on the other hand is when you are slipping into fear - and allowing that to win - when you are avoiding that which will move you forward.

What you do, who you spend time with, what you eat, or watch on TV (note - why watch things that fill you with doom and gloom - it really is a no brainer when you think of it in that way) should be FUN. You should be consciously creating FUN aka JOY in your life and things that are not giving you this FUN/JOY or stop giving it to you should be changed or removed.

The same applies when you are looking to make a decision, however big or small - if it leaves your head spinning and it is not a good place to be - then this is not something you want to cultivate and nurture. The law of the universe is simple - like attracts like - let yourself get muddled - and flit from one thing to another and all you get is more of the same. It is not the outcome of the decision that is often important - because you can do whatever you set your heart and soul to do - it is how you arrive at that point that is important. If making a decision has not FUN in it for you then I would question why you are even thinking about it - let it go and find something else fun to do. It is through FUN that you will find liberation and through FUN you will find solutions and insights.

Fun is your Spirit coming out to play - and let;s not forget that is part of the journey that you are no doubt on - how to connect deeper with your own spirit - well have FUN!

There are no prizes to be one for those who have created the most arduous, difficult path to spiritual enlightenment - and because of this I know which path I will always take - the FUN one...

Spring Time is here

Well here in the UK spring has officially stared. The clocks went back and like magic we have more daylight. It seems more than before the amount of daylight we are having is a hot topic of discussion. It is the need for light that people are connecting with - the need to be 'out' more and to connect with others and nature. Autumn and winter here sees many people go into hibernation - perhaps it seems as if this is the right thing to do. I am not totally convinced as we are humans in need of connection with others.

Whether you are into spiritual concepts or not - you like most others around you have had a tough time recently. Lots of change and not all of it expected. Although the energy has shifted there is certainly still some way to go.

If you are connecting to the need for more light then good for you in noticing what your body, mind, spirit and emotions are asking for. Spend some time outside, do things that make you laugh, eat fresh live food (and I don't mean the breathing kind here!) and breathe deeply. There is always lots of light around but we forget to access it and breathing is such a simple and effective way of bringing this vital energy source to you. If you are feeling really inspired then you could meditate and visualise the light entering your energy field and permeating through your whole system. Whatever you chose you will feel so invigorated and renewed. Even if you are somewhere where you are entering your autumn season - you can still access the abundant light that is always here.

material or spiritual!

Hello again,

I cannot believe how fast weeks can go sometimes. The logical part of me says of course they all go at the same speed but you know what I mean. It seems that there are certain weeks you seem to fit a whole lot more into than others and they whizz by!

I have been working on the issue of how sometimes things seem like they do not fit together. For years I kept my spiritual life and desires separate to my work life. Believing that living my dream of being a spiritual light worker would not be the same as working in a 'corporate job.' Spiritual = no money. Well that is what I thought....this is phenomenon of many of us who work or wish to work more authentically. We have a belief that money is not good and if we are doing 'good' work then we can let go of notions of money. This is just nonsense.

Money is just a form of energy and our ability to sustain it is linked to our ability to sustain happiness. On one hand we believe that there is a limitless i.e. abundant Universe supporting us, but not when it comes to money! Often this belief is so deep rooted that we do things unconsciously to continue validating this belief.

The reality is you can have it all, you can live your dream, you can be abundant, you can have an amazing life on all counts. It is about you being brave enough to release those thoughts and patterns that do not serve you! You have to put the effort and action in, but believe me you do see the results. There is no need to compartmentalise your life, or to sacrifice the joy of life for anything.

As I write this, know that I too am working on this - it is a continual challenge. I have and am enjoying re-creating my script and opening my life to the abundance that is there for the taking.... One of the key actions I have taken recently is to work with a business coach. Not just any business coach but someone who is also aligned to the principles and values I have. This is part of the Universe showing me, that when I am ready the teacher shall appear. She has appeared! I could have avoided the offering but what message would that send out the Universe? Action is one of our most lucrative gifts so today, I challenge you to take some action towards abundance. What will you decide to do? It doesn't need to cost anything, it can be about a mindset change, a behaviour and attitude. You know you can do something positive and allow more abundance into your life. You hold the keys to your transformation. Go on take some action today!

the holiday post

Well, hello again....I cannot believe that it has almost been one month since I last posted. My plans of sharing posts throughout my holiday were not to be realised. There were and are Internet connections in Kenya...even in the Maasai Mara (can you believe that?) but they were slow and very unreliable. I am back though, having had what feels like a month off. The holiday although great, felt like it was a detraction from what I have been working on. It was really strange, almost like a blip. I was removed from my path for the few weeks and now I am back on it. It is hard to describe but, I was not so connected whilst away. The big family wedding was a strange experience, something that I found hard to connect to at times. Families often create the most interesting experiences and for me question my ability to hold light at all times. At times it was very hard, people slip back into old roles, old wounds are opened up, and from the older ones these wounds are now surfacing in the younger ones. It seems that people are still struggling to move away from ancestral karma and finding the light to stand in their own truth.

Would I do it again? Unlikely to. Once you have moved away from a way of living to be taken back to it, is just not congruent with the new you. All too often spiritual seekers or teachers are expected to be perfect beings. It is as if, any storm is able to be sailed through. Without defining perfect, which is of course subjective, this is such a flawed way of thinking.

Firstly why would you, unless you were a danger or thrill seeker put yourself in a storm of anykind, this is not the act of self love. Secondly, the strive for perfection is what stops people from moving forward, nurturing their gifts or even changing their life. It is like we need everything to be in the image of our mind, our logic rather than the natural state. I was asked while away, surely to teach some of the things I do, I need to have found inner peace..? My answer was no! I teach this at all workshops I run, all things we seek are on a continuum, and to use the illusion of not having found them as a reason to not move towards them, or as a reason to not work with a particular teacher is a red herring. As I teach , I am learning too. This notion of perfect, or having already achieved perfection is interesting. Surely it is what we are seeking to be, to live in a divine way, even if at one level it is achieved it is always the next level that we are seeking this so called perfection. (Think of the onion, we get to one layer (level) and then there is something else for us to peel, a never ending process!) If it is like that, then we will always be imperfect in someones eyes. There will always be someone who wants to judge you and say that you are not good enough, you are not who you say you are. If this is something you experience, I say smile, and simply disagree without emotion. For no-one can know you as you know yourself. If you want to get to know yourself better then find some workshop, therapist, book etc. that helps you to connect to you much deeper. From a spiritual perspective things are much more complicated as you will know and probably have experienced. Often what we think we are seeing in someone is not what is the truth, as we are choosing to experience something in a certain way. During my recent holiday I found that more often than not, people were playing out karmic patterns in order to clear things and close certain chapters. To the many people involved in these dramaramas and situations it felt like they were so important and earthly behaviours of pride and injustice kicked in. None of it was important, yet it was. Spiritual living is complex and simple. There is no right or wrong, there is no good or bad, things simply are the way that they are.

What have I learnt...? Well, to always follow my instinct and intuition. Is this something that you do..? I am sure you know when you haven't as things are not smooth. My intuition and instinctual feeling had been to not go on this trip, but I went against it. Okay, the trip was not good and nor was it bad, but it was something that was not part of my spiritual path. Being brave and being able to stand up for your own spiritual knowing is something that I will work on over the next few months...I will share exercises and meditations through this blog and my newsletters (click on http://www.heavenlyspaces.co.uk/ to sign up for the free newsletter).

The way we learn is through sharing...You, each of you is part of my family. Being born into a family is a limiting deal as each of us is connected, this moves us beyond and into the realms of brotherhood. So if you feel disconnected or saddened by what you see going on in your earthly family, look outside of it and see that there are so many of us that are also connected to you. Sometimes we just need to see the bigger picture!!!!
